What was your first car? Was it a little Fiesta/Corsa/Panda etc? I bet you had it because of insurance/cheap to run reasons right?
These were the vehicles I was looking at whilst having lessons late 2004/early 2005. None of them really appealed though as I would always be thinking ‘I’d like something a little bigger… with a bit more speed and reliability’.

Honda Civic Type R

They said it was dead – they said no more ‘Type R’ Civics would ever be made…
But, ladies and gentlemen – It’s back from the dead in its new 2006 3-door body shell form. These are the first shots of the new 2007 Honda Civic Type R.
Wow.
As if the standard version didn’t look good enough (well – the European version anyway), this thing is awesome. Anyone who says Honda is dull, boring and only make cars for old people, well, I’ll let the pictures do the talking
What’s also amazing is that they are talking about doing a ‘Type RR’ – an idea borrowed from the motorbike division, featuring lightweight carbon fibre-bodied versions of the Type R’s. Can’t wait for the shots of those!
“When is it out?” I hear you scream (or is that just in my head?)… early 2007 is the answer. More details will tip up during the Geneva Motor show taking place next week.
