Honda NSX Flood Damaged?

Posted on August 26, 2009, by Darren, under Cars, Honda, Video.

So, you’ve dropped somewhere between £15-45,000 on a supercar right? Where are you going to drive it? The options are:

  • Motorway
  • Racetrack
  • A Flooded Road

Yes that’s right – Its the flooded road of course! Check out this video of an NSX driver (diver?) in the USA doing just that…

I think I’d be scared of driving though it in one of the pickups parked along the street never mind in a supercar that sits a few inches of the floor. Still, the damn thing keeps going and proves what they say about Hondas – bulletproof.

Of course it could just be an easy way to wash the car without expending too much effort.

I actually did a similar thing in July in my Nissan Almera. Think half way across a causeway with rising seawater, darkness and winds. Once you start, you have to keep moving. I’d say Nissans are pretty bulletproof too :)

If this video says “Honda’s are bulletproof” does it not also say “Honda drivers are morons”? =)

Maybe – maybe not. Perhaps its just ‘the ones with too much money are morons’ but that’s not particularly a Honda thing – just check out wreckedexotics.com for people with moo much money and zero sense. :-)
